Unforgettable Encounter: Koala & Kangaroo🦘 at Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary Brisbane Australia 🇦🇺

In this video I take a day trip from the perfect city of Brisbane to the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary located just 30mins outside of this Australian city. The Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is famous for their Koala holds where you get to cuddle koalas (for an additional price of course!) and feeding kangaroos. It is a must see place and is top of my list of things to do in Brisbane (the future host of the Brisbane olympics 2032!).

The Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary is a famous large zoo complex that houses, mainly koalas, but many more Australian animals that would otherwise be vulnerable if left in the wild. Not many people know this but a large proportion of koalas in the wild have chlamydia, which can be a fatal disease causing blindess in these beautiful animals. So the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary in Brisbane, Australia, aims to take in these vulnerable bears (although they are marsuipials!) and provide them with healthcare and safety where they otherwise would not survive in the wild.

Australia, like many other places in the World such as Singapore, are really big on conservation and protecting the local environment and their inhabitants. And so whilst some may disagree with the concept of zoos, this is not that and is well worth visiting next time you come to Australia and Brisbane!
