The Beatles - I've Got a Feeling - Bass Cover

Hello everyone, I AM BACK! Hope you've all been doing good. It's been a long, long, long nearly 4 years since I've last uploaded. However, I'm a changed man, and after alot of big twists and turns in my life for better or for worse, I'm finally ready to pick up where I last left off and make important steps forward into the future. I have some really exciting surprises in store for you, so stay tuned ;) And without further adieu, launching us into this new era of my channel, I present you my bass cover of one of my all-time favourite Beatle songs!

“I’ve Got A Feeling” is a thunderous, yet profoundly up-lifting track off the 1970 album Let It Be. It was recorded on January 30, 1969 during the legendary rooftop concert, with all instruments and vocals performed completely live.

This song was a mash-up of two songs, one written by John, and the other by Paul. Which makes it one of the rare instances where a 50/50 collaboration occurred between the two collaborators during this period of their career.

My recreation of the bass performed by McCartney is completely faithful to the original performance on the rooftop of Apple studios that day. All nuances, “mistakes”, and notes are displayed in its entirety.

It’s important to note that McCartney was giving an awe-inspiring vocal performance all the while playing bass simultaneously. Which is in and of itself a monumentally challenging task, yet Paul performs it effortlessly.
