→ Join me on this quick state-to-state hop onboard Southwest Airlines! As a classic Southwest move, this was supposed to be flown with a 737 MAX8, but they downgraded it to a boring 737-800, let alone in the Heart livery, last minute. Bleh. But, nonetheless, we still got to fly to Las Vegas! We begin in Phoenix at gate D3, push back and taxi to runway 7L for departure. We soar off into the skies above Phoenix, then join the ZEPER2 departure towards Las Vegas. We climb to cruise at 28,000 feet above the state of Arizona, then shortly after, begin our final descent into Las Vegas. We pass by the Hoover Dam on Lake Mead, then land on Las Vegas's runway 26L shortly after. We taxi to gate C8, where this quick 1-hour flight comes to a close.
