The Calif. Zephyr in Ft. Morgan on 19SEPT2024 (Balance Awareness Day)

This morning's California Zephyr #5 arrived in Fort Morgan at 0639 MDT (54 min. late). Ollie had P42s #187 (in phase VII livery) and #13 at his command as he brought the 8-car consist to a stop with car 7 to the station platform for passenger service to 4 departing passengers and 2 new fares.
With the station work safely completed, the high ball was given and on a clear signal, Ollie released the brakes and ramped up the amps to the traction motors moving the Zephyr west toward its nest stop at Union Station in Denver.
