Ingredients

Vanilla Buttermilk Cake

170g (1 ½ sticks) Unsalted butter – softened to room temperature
400g (2 cups) Baking sugar
4 eggs – room temperature
342g (3 cups) cake flour
½ tsp baking soda
2 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
296g (1 ¼ cups) buttermilk — if you don’t have buttermilk use full fat milk then add 1 tbsp of white vinegar and leave for 5 minutes
1/4 cup vegetable oil
1 tbsp vanilla extract
