In preparation to level my LeBlond lathe I am restoring for my home machine shop, I am doing a little metal working by turning a set of leveling screw feet using a machinist lathe. These will serve two purposes - first to spread the weight of the lathe out from the point on the bottom of the set screw, as well as to lift the lathe up a few inches higher to make it more comfortable to operate. I did the work on the Lodge and Shipley metal lathe in the machine shop at the Georgia Museum of Agriculture in Tifton, GA.
