An easy and delicious recipe for Danish "Risalamande" (the dessert eaten on Christmas Eve, the 24th of December, in Denmark). It has a base of rice porridge, mixed with plenty of whipped cream, vanilla seeds, suger and chopped almonds!

Ingredients: Risalamande for 4 persons
Rice porridge ingredients:
300 ml cold water
225 ml / 200 gr rice porridge
900 ml whole milk
A small pinch of salt (when making the porridge for Risalamande)
150 gr almonds (remove skin after weighing) (keep 1 whole almond for the "mandelgave"/almond gift)
2 vanilla beans (using only the seeds from them)
5 tbsp white sugar (you can use more if you desire a sweeter Risalamande)
500 ml cream (38%) (whipped)

Hot cherry sauce for serving
