The NordicTrack Commercial 1250 Treadmill is a new addition to the Commercial Series lineup of treadmills from NordicTrack. It’s the cheaper alternative to the popular NordicTrack 1750 and 2450 treadmills. Even though it’s a little lower in price, it includes a lot of the same features that we love from those other models.

One aspect that we like for home use is that the 1250 is fairly compact and foldable. The deck uses a hydraulic assist to give you assistance when lifting and lowering the deck. When unlocked, the deck will slowly lower to the floor. There are two front transportation wheels to move it around when its folded, too. You just need to tip back the deck to engage the wheels.

Like other treadmills from NordicTrack the 1250 comes with a 300 lb weight capacity and 10 year frame warranty. It has a steel frame and steel uprights that help make it feel stable to use. There is a little bit of shake in the console and screen when running at high speeds, but overall the NordicTrack 1250 is pretty solid.

Other than the slight shake of the screen, the screen is easy to see and really adjustable. It can be tilted up and down and pivoted to either side so you can see if from off the deck. The screen is 10” and it comes enabled with iFit to offer thousands of workout classes and automatic adjustability throughout your workouts.

The NordicTrack 1250 has a 3.0 HP motor that’s fairly quiet. We recommend the 1250 for light to moderate amounts of use. I like how quiet the incline and decline are. It can barely be heard above the sound of the motor moving the belt. The belt will increase up to 12 mph and the deck inclines to 12% and declines to -3%. The incline isn’t quite as high as comparable models, but it still provides a good range to work with.

The deck is compact, yet spacious for most running strides. It’s 20” wide and 60” long. The 1250 features the same deck and cushioning as the 2450 and 1750 fortunately. The cushioning is soft and forgiving on the joints so if you get discomfort running on concrete outside, I’d consider looking into this model if you’re in the market for a treadmill.

Overall the NordicTrack Commercial 1250 Treadmill is a great addition to the Commercial Series lineup. It’s pretty quiet, comfortable, functional, easy to use, and has interactive workouts when you subscribe to iFit.
