Day 12 - Minecraft Hardcore - Strange Nether Portal (no commentary longplay)

Today, I found the snowy plains village, and oh my God, what a beautiful place!

The village is partially nestled within the ice spikes biome, with frozen rivers flowing nearby.

In the Nether, I connected the paths to the two missing villages (the snowy plains and the desert), and to my surprise, I found a Nether fortress!

Additionally, a strange open portal appeared in the Nether. I was quite confused about this because it’s located outside of any path I’ve traveled. Can Nether portals really appear open like this? Tomorrow, I’ll investigate what happened.
