Custom Adapter to mount 1 1/8" Ahead stems to an old 1" threaded fork.
A nice little project to become familiar with the lathe. You can actually buy these adaptors but I have never seen one this long. So I made a custom one because I also wanted to raise the handlebars quite a bit.
You can also put spacers underneath the stem to make it look almost like a "modern" frame.
