The A-7, while appearing (less than) mundane, has one little trick up its sleeve that makes it special among all but one fighter, and among all other strike aircraft in the game.

While I used the A-7E to demonstrate throughout the video, the A-7D is perfectly capable of doing it the exact same way. The only difference between the A-7D and the A-7E is armament. Other than that, they are functionally identical in War Thunder. Same with the new A-7K.
