Fort Jaffna Railway Journey on Yal Devi Train

The video contains the landscapes, and a few Railway Stations, situated between Anurdhapura and Jaffna in Sri Lanka.

There are only two trains that run from Comobo to Jaffna. One is Uttara Devi which starts from Mount and Ends at Kankanthurai. This is a full AC train and reservations only. The second train is Yal Devi, which has about 3 AC compartments which are bookable. One 2nd class carriage is also bookable. Rest of the 2nd and 3rd class compartments can accommodate limitless passengers. Therefore be aware if you are travelling during holiday seasons without a booking as you may end up travelling standing for over 6 hours. We only got seats after vauvniya. On return We were standing from Jaffna itself - 10 hours with the traffic.
