Reti for Anything 🏆Creative Strategy That Changed Chess and Ended a Champion's Unbeaten Streak

Описание к видео Reti for Anything 🏆Creative Strategy That Changed Chess and Ended a Champion's Unbeaten Streak

Richard Reti was a creative and unique chess thinker.
The popular Opening move 1.Nf3 is named 'The Reti'

Reti conquered the unstoppable World Champion Capablanca in the New York 1924 Super Tournament, Capablanca had gone 8 years without a loss! 😮

Reti challenged the prevailing wisdom that you must control the center with Pawns. This was the law set forth by Steinitz, however the "hypermodern" school thought pointing your pieces at the center was just as good. Both strategies are now used regularly.
