Exploring North Carolina's CATAWBA RIVER GREENWAY

Описание к видео Exploring North Carolina's CATAWBA RIVER GREENWAY

In Morganton, North Carolina, there's a pretty greenway that follows alongside the mighty Catawba River. We'll explore that bike path on this edition of Joyful Trails, and we'll also take in a lot of history. There's American Indian history here, as the trail passes right by a re-creation of a "Native American" village from 500 years ago. There's also a storied courthouse, Civil War history, and Revolutionary War history as well. In fact, Morganton takes her name from a hero of the American Revolution! All of that, plus we bump into a Joyful Trails viewer on this edition of the show. It's the Catawba River Greenway in Morganton...on Joyful Trails.

I explore, review and rate bike trails on this channel...and hopefully find a little joy in the journey. Thanks for watching!
