In this jazz guitar lesson I'll explain you the relationship between diminished arpeggios and dominant chords, actually altered chords. There is a diminished arpeggio included in every 7b9 chord. So why not use it to solo over dominant 7b9 chords?

I'll show you in detail all the chords and arpeggios connected in each position on the guitar. I've also made Diminished Arpeggio Licks for each position. A total of four diminished jazz guitar licks, spread all over the fretboard will give you a good start for your own soloing ideas over altered chords.

I show you eash diminished arpeggio all over the fretboard. We're gonna be using the same shape, so you don't get confused and understand the symmetry of the diminished arpeggio. It's always the same, just shifted three half tones up and down the fretboard.

All The Diminished Arpeggio guitar tabs are included in the downloadable PDF along with all the diagrams of the diminished arpeggios and the related dominant chords.

I'll alos explain, when to use these diminished arpeggios. You can use them whenever a dominat chord resolves to it I chord. I explain how that works in detail in this jazz guitar lesson.
