were established 2009 and describe the minimum information necessary for evaluating qPCR and RT-qPCR
experiments. MIQE is a set of guidelines and target the reliability of results to help ensure the integrity of the
scientific literature, promote consistency between laboratories, and increase experimental transparency.
MIQE was well received and is cited today more than 16.000 times in the scientific community all over the
world, in any kind of molecular biology laboratory including scientific research and clinical molecular
diagnostics.
