After disappearing in a flash of light, Lucca informs Crono that their actions have changed the future and so Marle, the disguised Princess Nadia, no longer exists! With no time to waste the duo embark to rescue the real Queen Leene and restore their history. Hearing reports of suspicious activity at a nearby cathedral, the two investigate, but are ambushed by monsters! With a little help from an unexpected ally, however, the new trio will head to the heart of the monsters' lair in search of the Queen.

Gameplay without commentary of the 1995 video game Chrono Trigger developed by Square and published by Nintendo for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES).

All gameplay was captured from a North American (Label M/SNS-ACTE-USA, Rear stamp code 40) copy of the game running on a Super Nintendo Entertainment System model SNS-001 (Motherboard Code SNS-CPU-GPM-01, 2-Chip) using a YPbPr component cable from HD Retrovision. Footage has been upscaled to 4K (2160p) using the RetroTINK-4K for clarity.

The RetroTINK-4K is also being used to apply a linear scanline effect as well as a minor horizontal blur in an effort to approach the appearance of playing on a CRT display; as would be commonplace at the time of the game's release.
