கிருஷ்ண ஜெயந்தி - நவநீதம் | Navaneetham - Krishna Jayanti special recipe

Naivedhyam - Navaneetham, Aval, Milk and Curd.

Navaneetha’ is Sanskrit word for fresh butter or Makhan. Neetha or Neeta is butter in Sanskrit.

Nethi is much more refined form and that is Ghee.

Another meaning of Neetha is refined and well trained and also principled.

Neetha is also a product obtained from well trained refined process (obviously taking out butter from milk-butter milk itself a well refined procedure). Many times in Sanskrit, the name need not necessarily be assigned based on the name or noun directly but based on the properties or principles it reflects.

So Navaneetha is a 'fresh refined' product assigned to 'fresh butter'

Ingredients

Milk with jaggery added with edible camphor, safron.
Curd
Aval Poha with jaggery, coconut, cardamom.
Dry ginger (Chukku) with jaggery and ghee.
