For episode #3 of Cookin' on the Coast 2021, we're featuring Jalisco Cidre from Merridale Cidery. Named after the Jalisco state of Mexico where some of the ingredients are sourced, this cider is sweet, spicy and limey.

To pair our Jalisco Cidre for this episode, Chef Michael Williams is preparing Double-baked Yam with Lime and Ancho Chili Sauce. Ciders usually pair well with vegetables, plus the Jalisco Cidre brings flavour that is perfect for the Mexican-infused flavours in the dish.
