Here is a somewhat lengthy piece my friend Steve Shapiro helped me
re-create back in the 1990s. I figured a WONDER WOMAN television soundtrack
was probably not forthcoming (but I'd still love it!), so I arranged this cover version just for fun.

The opening bit is as close as I could get to the first transformation sequence in the third ABC epsiode, followed by the theme song as was typically heard during action scenes.

I would play the various parts on Steve's keyboard, and he would fix wrong notes, change instrumentation as necessary, and generally polish things up. I was not working from music (nor can I read it if I had it), but from memory, and lots of old audio recordings.

More from Steve: "We used a Korg M1 synth sequenced using Cakewalk MIDI software on an old Windows PC. We then recorded the M1 by plugging it directly to the back of a home stereo cassette deck. No digital audio files were ever made (we didn't have the technology) and the Cakewalk files are probably on some old floppy drives somewhere. Very primitive stuff!"

All in all, I'd say this was my favorite project, and we re-created lots of themes back then. At this point, I only have the track on a well worn analog audio cassette, so I'm uploading it now to YouTube in mono form (but the track is actually in stereo, if I ever get another player, I'll re-post it properly).

All rights to the character and the program of course remain with their respective holders. This cover tune is merely one fan's tribute to a favorite tv show, and no copyright infringement is intended.
