Reggie Miller once again terrorized the Knicks at Madison Square Garden, hitting the game-tying 3-pointer with 5.1 seconds remaining in the 4th-qtr (11:42-mark) to knot the score at 102 and force overtime. In OT, Indiana siezed control -- outscoring New York 16-5 to claim a 118-107 victory and take a commanding 3-1 lead in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Reggie Miller scored a game-high 38 points, shooting 10-23 from the field, 13-14 from the FT line, and 5-13 from behing the arc. Reggie was also on the receiving end of a John Starks elbow to the face (0:26-mark) that resulted in a flagarant foul against Starks.

Rik Smits scored 23 points, Chris Mullin added 18, and Mark Jackson scored 16 points, dished 15 assists and grabbed 6 rebounds.

Allan Houston and John Starks each scored 19 points to lead the Knicks. Larry Johnson scored 18, Charlie Ward 13, and Charles Oakley scored 8 and grabbed 10 rebounds. In only his 3rd game back after missing the final 56 regular season games and the first 6 games of the postseason with a severe wrist injury, Patrick Ewing scored 17 points and grabbed 8 rebounds.

The Pacers closed out the Knicks in 5 games, to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals for the 3rd time in 5 years.
