Описание к видео 00 - INTRO to the "Understanding Developmental Trauma: Adaptive Survival Styles" Video Series

Many people growing up have experienced developmental trauma, which includes repeated relational violations from caregivers without adequate repair. When our developmental needs (e.g., connection, attunement, trust, autonomy, love/sexuality) are not adequately attended to on a regular basis, we develop one of 5 adaptive survival styles, which include specific patterns of dilemmas, emotions, physiology, thought patterns, identity disturbances, and interpersonal issues.

In this video, Dr. May will offer an introduction to developmental trauma and these five adaptive survival styles. Five videos, one for each style, will follow this video and outline each one in greater detail.
