Windsurf Sail Repair - Permanently Patching A Torn Panel

Описание к видео Windsurf Sail Repair - Permanently Patching A Torn Panel

Replacing a monofilm panel without extracting the damaged panel first. This method saves oodles of time.
After the last repair I did on this sail, a Youtube viewer left a comment outlining an easier method. No need to remove the damaged panel completely. Sew the new panel directly over top and then cut the damaged panel out. The second row of stitching adds strength and keeps the edge of the old panel from 'lifting'.
Off to Swamphole to tear it again...

Two additional things I've learned.
1. Sailrite.com sells 1" insignia tape by the foot, its called Draft Tape and makes life easier.
2. Depending on where in the sail the damaged panel is located, the rolled up sail might not fit under the arm of the machine. My 8M NP Spirit was almost the limit.
