Welcome back to the Holding it Down Podcast. Today we’re on the road and visiting one of the oldest and still open Gentleman’s Clothing store: Greenspan’s.

Located in South Gate, this shop has been open since 1928 and slanging gentlemen’s clothing for almost 100 years! Evan Greenspan is part of a family operation that’s seen almost every important era of the last century. From WWII, Civil Rights Era, Vietnam, LA Riots, and so forth. So we sat down with Evan to chat a little bit about the business and how things have changed over the last few decades. And you know we’re going to talk about how they were the ones who provided wardrobe for Blood in Blood Out, La Bamba, and other sick ass movies from that time.

So sit back, kick it, have a smoke, drink a beer or water, whatever you do to relax because you know you’re about to have a good time.
