This O-gauge model railroad video captures all the excitement of the famous Pioneer Zephyr, and a CB&Q heavy freight! You'll see the powerful Burlington GM GP30 come around the bend pulling its colorful freight consist at (0:55). It pulls into the dispatch/station to receive additional track orders at (3:15). Check out the details of this locomotive by Williams, the special gold Express Boxcar by Weaver and the close up of the famous Burlington logo 'Everywhere West' (3:35). The Pioneer Zephyr pulls into the station at (4:05). Lots of activity takes place at the station as the brakeman does his final walk-around of his freight train (4:30). Hear the conductor call out: 'All Aboard' and watch as the sleek Zephyr departs the platform (5:00). Soon it's down the tracks, out of sight around the bend. No. 974 gives a blast of its horn and begins its rollout (5:50). The two trains meet several times as they travel across waterways, through countryside and industrial areas, and head into the distance (7:00). Later, completing its route, the freight pulls in and stops at the the siding, ready to uncouple its cars for the switcher to begin its work (10:25). You can hear the horn in the distance (10:55) as the Pioneer Zephyr comes around the bend, arriving early at the station (11:05) .
