Day 2 was our first wet day. We quickly learned that packing and unpacking gear should have been part of our training! With the rain on and off, so were our raincoats.

At 7.9kms, this hike is challenging, with multiple steep inclines. There was also the Kleinbos River crossing which was easy enough, even though the river was higher than usual due to the rainfall. However; we were rewarded with beautiful 360 views from the top of a free standing cliff and 2 other viewing decks.

This day took us 7 hours. It definitely is not to be taken lightly.
