This is a #kumaunisong and related to Pithoragarh, which is known as Sor Ghati or Chhota Kashmir. In earlier days the natives of Pithoragarh were known as Soryal and they were very brave and healthy, although they are today too. But now a lot of population has been migrated to other cities and actually they are well to do there. They come to their native villages every now and then. This song is urging to those Soryali, who are living in many other places of country or foreign, just come again to their native place and reside there. Their Native place's (village house ) has been ruined and top of the house has been destroyed, singer says come back to native place and repair your house. He says the Deodar tree's fress air, Baanj root's water, Peach, Kubani, Kafal fruits and your Devalay (God and Deities) are calling you to come back your hills.
Basically this is a song for reverse migration. Now in Sor Ghati (Pithoragrah) there has been many facilities. Now there is air service, well connected roads, electricity and water facilities. Definitely there would be some problems or lack nesses, but gradually they will be also solved. If we will have a strong desire, we can survive there very easily and happily.
