Hike

Hiking Mount Rubidoux, Riverside, CA.

For Inland Empire hikers, Mount Rubidoux is like a hiking rite of passage. Whether a beginner or seasoned climber, all seem to find their way here at least once. The hike provides just enough elevation gain to require a little bit of effort, and more than enough views to provide satisfaction. Also, there are assorted scenic spots along the summit. The hike is a very popular one, so solitude is generally not on the docket. Otherwise, it is probably best to come during cool temperatures, since it gets hot in Riverside much of the year.
