Brewing a Motueka Blonde Ale Partial Mash | Coopers Australian Pale Ale

Описание к видео Brewing a Motueka Blonde Ale Partial Mash | Coopers Australian Pale Ale

This is a partial-mash brew, using the Coopers Australian Pale Ale beer kit as the base. Instead of using malt extract to make up most the extra fermentables required for this kit, I mashed some grain and created a wort. The extract recipe is below, but I used nearly 2kg of malt and mashed it using BIAB method and added a small amount of dextrose to bump up the ABV a little. A small amount of hops was also added during the boiling of the wort.

Recipe for 23l batch:
1 x Coopers Australian Pale Ale Beer Kit
1.5 kg Pale Ale Malt
200g Carapils
250g Wheat Malt
20g Motueka Hop Pellets @ last 5 mins of boil
150g Dextrose
1 x Crossmyloof Midland Yeast
Fermented at 20oC for 14 days (+ cold crashed for 48 hours).

OG - 1.046
FG - 1.010
ABV 4.7%
