BIO:
From 2005-2017, Schmid worked as a bedside Registered Nurse, Head Nurse and Clinician on the Burn, Plastic and Trauma Unit at Vancouver General Hospital (VGH). In 2017, she joined the Wound and Ostomy team at VGH and works as a Wound Clinician for GF Strong Inpatient Serivces and the Blusson SCI Wound Clinic. Working in VGH, GF Strong and Blusson has emersed Schmid in SCI care and management and has changed how she approaches wound care and management for all patients.
