CPKC Scotford and CN Vegreville Sub - CP 8781 Hapag-Lloyd and PNL Detours

Time to venture off the mainline and take a visit to CN and CPKC's line to Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta. We'll start off with CPKC 418 rolling into Edmonton with CP 8781, wearing the Hapag-Llloyd "St. John Express" scheme and see it on the Scotford Sub in Edmonton and arriving Clover Bar Yard. We'll then head over to Nashman on the Vegreville Sub and catch G 86851 19 a P&H Grain Train bound for Hamlin on the Turtleford Sub and Q 19251 17 detouring over the Prairie North Line (PNL) due to work blocks on the mainline. Enroute to Scotford, we stopped to catch CPKC's morning Clover Bar to Scotford transfer B82 at Josephburg before heading to Gaudin to catch 868 and 192 again. CN 868 and CPKC B82 were converging on the Gaudin Interlocking at the same time, with CN 868 arriving at the automatic diamond first. While 868 rolls by, we can see CPKC B82 rolling across the farm fields to wait for 868s passage. After B82 clears the diamond, Q 19251 17 gets underway and we'll take a look at them from the ground and the skies, as they pass the Grain Elevator at Gaudin
