On September 3, 2024 S 76381 31 made the final leg of its journey from Blair, Wisconsin to Benbow, Alberta. We caught up with the train on the Sangudo Sub, 30 miles west of Edmonton at Onoway as it passed the old elevator in town. We then proceeded west to Cherhill and Sangudo, where the railway crosses the Pembina River on a 947 foot wooden trestle. The next stop was the impressive trestle at Rochfort Bridge, where the train slows down to 10MPH to cross the 2584 foot bridge over the Paddle River. To cap off the chase, we see the train passing the elevator at Mayerthorpe, which is used to store centrebeams, as opposed to loading grain cars.

S 76381 31 had the BC Rail Heritage unit, CN 3115 leading with CN 3122 bracketing 101 loaded frac sand cars.
