Instrument of the Week: The Kocher Clamp

Описание к видео Instrument of the Week: The Kocher Clamp

Welcome back to Instrument of the Week!

This time around, we are discussing the Kocher Clamp.

This clamp has a ratcheting mechanism that allows for the surgeon or assistant to hold tissue in place without using the force of their own hands!

It is primarily used to hold heavier tissue out of the way so the surgeon can get a better view of the surgical field and also to provide tension to the tissue to excise it or around it.
