Shortcut HOMEMADE CINNAMON ROLLS!

Forget proofing the yeast and mixing the dough! These are so delicious and simple to make! And, every bit as good as scratch made!

Ingredients

1 loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
1/2 stick salted butter, softened
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Directions

Place dough onto floured surface. Roll the dough into a 10x12 sheet, approximately ½ inch thick. This does not have to be exact.

Spread softened butter onto dough and cover butter with cinnamon sugar mixture. Spread sugar mixture to the edges.

Gently lift one of the 12 inch sides and fold over the edge. Gently roll the dough into a log.

Cut the log into 1 inch slices and place into a 9x13 in baking dish sprayed with nonstick spray.

Cover rolls with plastic wrap and allow them to rise in a warm, draft free area for 30 minutes. Rolls should double in size…..or close to it.

Uncover rolls and bake in a 350 degree preheated oven for approximately 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Cream Cheese Frosting

4-ounces cream cheese, softened
1/2 stick butter, softened
2 cups powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla

Mix all ingredients together until light and fluffy.

Cover hot rolls with frosting. Enjoy!
