The New Mahlkönig EK Omnia Grinder - A Digital Version of the Classic Grinder! (Only 10 in the UK!)

Around 15 years ago the Mahlkönig EK43 grinder took the coffee industry by storm! Its quality and reliability has stood the test of time and earned it a place on many barista's counter tops over the years and it has become somewhat of a classic within the industry.

The design has remained fairly un-changed in recent years with the exception of some different colourways and slight modifications but now Mahlkönig have produced the EK Omnia, a new take on the original EK43 but with classic EK styling and high tech features including programmable grind settings and digital display for superb accuracy.

In this video I go through the new features of the Omnia and compare it to its predecessor, plus explain some of my favourite features and why I've loved using this grinder for the last few few days. Sadly, it's not mine and by the time this video goes out it should be with one of my customers but it's certainly got me thinking about how to justify getting one for us at the Roastery!
