Coming Together Through Changes

There is nothing the Lord can't heal. He did it for Kari Trent Stageberg - a survivor of domestic violence and now marriage champion - and many others don’t have to wait to watch Him do the same for them.

“Sometimes we need a map to help us reapply the things we did at first,” Kari says. “So much is not about perfection - it’s about starting somewhere.”

You might recognize the name, Trent, when you meet author and coach Kari Trent Stageberg. She’s the daughter of renowned relationship expert Dr. John Trent, co-author with Gary Smalley of best-selling The Blessing: Giving the Gift of Unconditional Love and Acceptance. Kari now works closely with her father at StrongFamilies ministry running day-to-day operations, coaching, co-hosting the StrongFamilies podcast and writing books like her newest, The Merge for Marriage: Turning Frustration and Disunity into Closeness and Commitment, where she shares how to overcome pressures newly married couples face in the modern world. Kari is a domestic violence survivor who encourages others to heal from their past experiences and live an abundant life in Christ.
