Smith-Magenis syndrome (SMS) is a genetic disorder that affects just 1 in 25,000 children per year, with the SMS Research Foundation listing symptoms including autism, speech problems, and an inability to sleep.

In this episode of Medical Stories, Jennifer and Brian share the story of their second child, Aaron, who was diagnosed with SMS. They explain how they’re navigating the challenges of raising their son, including shedding light on the significant role played by his older sister, Abigail, in his progress.
