After a little more than 1 year - and only 6 months of actual usage - my Minnkota Deckhand 40 anchor winch stopped working entirely. It just stopped raising or lowering the 30 pound anchor. I ended up ordering a replacement circuit board for $25 + $5 shipping on eBay, and replaced the old board in the Deckhand. The new board fixed it, and now the Deckhand works fine. The entire process from start to finish only took about 15 minutes. I hope this helps somebody. Let me know if you have any questions.
