Presenting excerpts from Sri Jayadeva's Ashtapadi that has been choreographed by Guru Smt. Saradha Sethuraman and tuned in Kalyani Ragam by Pozhakkudi GR Praveen.

The song depicts Radha's friend's narrative to Krishna, as she acts as a messenger between them. She narrates and reiterates Radha's plight in seperation from Krishna.

The choreography for this ashtapadi beautifully blends the sentence’s meaning with the usage of aligned nrittakaranas, as per Bharata’s Natyashastram and the commentaries on the text. 

The song has been presented by Srilekha, with lighting support by Ananya.
