This chicken jalfrezi recipe is very similar to the one in my cookbook "The Curry Guy" but here I cook it for one or two in a balti pan on the hot coals. I love the smoky flavour you get cooking this curry outdoors. It's super easy to make. In fact, you can cook it in about ten minutes!

INGREDIENTS
2 tbsp rapeseed oil
1/2 red onion - finely sliced
2 green chillies - finely chopped
Sliced bell peppers
Salt to taste
1 tbsp garlic and ginger paste
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander stalks
1 chopped tomato
250- 300ml base curry sauce
3 tbsp tomato puree
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp mixed powder or curry powder
200g chicken tikka
1/2 tsp dried methi leaves
Quartered tomatoes
1 lime wedge
1/2 tsp garam masala
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander
