Why is Japan One of the Countries with the BIGGEST Gender Gap?

Описание к видео Why is Japan One of the Countries with the BIGGEST Gender Gap?

“One of the social problems in Japan that needs immediate progress…!”

Every year, the World Economic Forum presents “The Global Gender Gap Report,” which measures the gender gap in each country. The data for 2021 was announced in March, and Japan was ranked 120th out of 156 countries.

This is the lowest among the G7 and neighboring countries like China, South Korea, and South-Eastern Asian countries. What’s worse is that compared to other countries, Japan is very slow in making progress and is continuously declining down the ranking.

What is causing this situation in Japan, and why are we having a hard time changing it??

Today, I will explain about the situation of gender inequality in Japan, why the gender gap is so big, and give some examples of gender inequality. Also at the end of the video, I will talk about what kind of actions have been taken to solve this problem in Japan today.
