PCHD EMS Academy First High School EMT Graduation 2024

On Sunday, May 19, 2024, our EMS Academy held a ceremony honoring our first class of High School Emergency Medical Technician graduates. These dedicated students represented Aledo, Weatherford, Mineral Wells, Springtown, and Millsap high schools. This accomplishment opens up a range of opportunities for them.

Completing EMT training during high school provides these graduates with practical skills in emergency response, which not only prepares them for potential careers in healthcare but also equips them to make immediate contributions to their communities. The hands-on experience gained through the program fosters a sense of responsibility and teamwork, essential qualities in any profession.

Moreover, having EMT certification can enhance college applications, offering a standout factor that demonstrates a commitment to public service and healthcare.
