Dating from colonial times in Mexico, APAPACHO refers to embrace or caress with the soul, beyond physical contact. Etymologically, APAPACHO derives from the Nahuatl word 'patzoa' which can be translated as "apretar : firmly hold or squeeze"
When I was a child I used to write poetry during the "siesta" - the most silent and quiet moment from the day, while my parents had a nap. A large collection of writings and poems defined my soul, alone and secretly since then as a precious or hidden side of myself which now is ready to speak up and find his own way out.

This solo project is the result of a compositional process related to that experience from my early youth, enriched by my own actual texts, poetry and my own music, to be release during 2024 as a side project.
