Following a disabling stroke, Britta has regained a tremendous amount of mobility, function and independence through an intensive rehab program. One of her most challenging limitations was the loss of use of her dominant right arm and hand. She has worked with her occupational therapist on manual techniques that have helped to restore flexibility in her shoulder and improve her grasp. She has also used electrical stimulation to facilitate the muscles to contract while her therapist assists her with movement.
