The Neighborhood after a tornado

Описание к видео The Neighborhood after a tornado

Certainly, whenever there is a thunderstorm approaching the city, I will be paying very close attention to the weather radar, and the barometer, as a fast drop in air pressure, can be the indication of a severe thunderstorm, much as what happened in Rome, New York. A first of what will be many videos, of the first historic F-2 tornado, that went through the heart of the Copper City...Rome, New York on the afternoon 3:20 pm, of Tuesday July 16, 2024.
Parry Street homes, sustained damage, not as much as Garden Street, and North James Street. The tornado had winds of around 120mph. All my bodyweight could not keep the kitchen door shut, as the 80-90mph wind was forcing it open. Within twenty seconds, it was all over. Certainly hoping the city government, leaves many remnants of trees, standing. Just as a historical reminder, if that's okay with the woke crowd.
This is the result of a F-2. I would not even imagine the ferocity of a F3, F4, or the hand of G-D...a F-5, passing through.
Before I forget, one more thing: Thank You to the State Fire officials, New York State Police, Broome County emergency, Oneida County sheriff deputies, Rome Fire Department, Copper City police, all the tree service companies! A very commendable and swift job by National Grid, Thayer, and Alliance utility companies...Thank You. Businesses such as ServPro, will certainly have much necessary work to complete in the city.
And a very loud "Amen!" to the residents of Rome, New York for helping-out your neighbors, and volunteering by handing-out water and food to the community. A Blessing and a curse that people come together, in a time of tragedy. This was a very small state-of-emergency, but the response and cleanup and restoration, definitely deserves to be recognized and applauded.
