Sailing from Norfolk, VA to Solomons Island, MD

On this episode of 2 Women Sailing, we encounter many a container ship, freighter and SUBMARINE as we depart Norfolk, Virginia. It's a fun-filled day of beautiful sailing and getting hailed by the coast guard!


Then, we get measured for our new headsail in Deltaville, Virginia. We also get to go to Evolution Sails to watch it being made in real time! After that, we meet up with fellow cruiser friends Cassandra, Alejandro and their cute cat Eugene and take a look at their boat that's being worked on in the Deltaville boat yard.


On our way to Solomons Island, Maryland we have our most excitement yet. We get caught in a terrible storm on Chesapeake Bay. You have to watch it to believe it!
