I found an old bird drawing tutorial booklet for kids a while ago and tried some of the step by step tutorials out with my nephew. I thought it would be a fun idea for a video too, trying to draw birds based on a tutorial book. So, that's what I did for this #asmrdrawing video.

I'm flipping through the booklet to find birds I like the most and then sketching the bird lightly with a colored pencil, erasing when needed and finally enforcing the lines and coloring in the bird, still with colored pencils, sharpening the pencils when needed. I ended up drawing three birds for a 57 min video. I only recognize the second bird as kingfisher. Tell me in the comments, if you know the two other birds.

What is ASMR? Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is a euphoric experience characterized by a static-like or tingling sensation on the skin that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine, precipitating relaxation. ASMR is most commonly triggered by specific acoustic and visual stimuli including the content of some digital videos.

If you have problems falling asleep, watching ASMR videos might help you fall asleep. Or if you feel stressed, they could help you calm down and relax. For some people ASMR is triggered by ambient sounds and watching people work quietly.
