NOTE Correction: In the video I say that the GLAZE is fired 3 times, but it's not! The mug is fired 3 times but not the glaze. There is an initial bisque fire with just the clay, then a glaze fire, then a decal fire.

Also, there are some things you can do to correct pinholing! One thing to try is to fire the piece again. Sometimes re-firing the glaze will help the pinholes to relax and smooth out. OR you can sand the pinholes with a fine grit sand paper. That's what I did with my pieces and they feel so much better now!
