Ukadiche Modak💗
For dough:
~2 cups water
~1 tbsp ghee
~1 tsp salt
~2 cups rice flour
~2 tsp ghee (for kneading)
•In a Kadhai, heat 2 cups of water.
Add 1 tbsp of ghee. Once it comes to a boil, add 1 tsp salt and 2 cups of rice flour. Stir well until the mixture comes together into a dough.
Transfer the dough to a large plate and add 2 tsp of ghee.
Smoothen the dough by applying ghee to your palms and kneading gently.Cover the dough and let it rest for 5 minutes.
For the Filling:
~2 tbsp ghee
~ 350g jaggery
~2 cups grated coconut
•Cook the filling until the jaggery melts & let it cool down.
•Make shapes of modak as shown in the video.
•Steam for 12-15 minutes & garnish it with kesar and ghee.
Ready!!!!!!
•Firstly serve it to your Ganesha then enjoy the Prasad.
