Vizag to Bangalore bus journey in VRL Volvo B11R | Fastest bus to Bangalore | 1000 KMS | Cabin Ride

Watch my bus journey from Vizag (Visakhapatnam) to Bangalore (Bengaluru) in VRL Volvo B11R semi sleeper bus. Covering a total distance of 1000 kms in 17 hours. The pickup point was Rama Talkies and boarding time was 2.30 pm. Other buses like Orange & Rajesh Volvos also operate on this route. This is the only semi sleeper bus on this route. The other buses are mostly sleeper and are much costlier.This is one of the fastest buses on this route as other buses reach Bangalore by 9 am onwards. This VRL has scheduled time of 7:30 am. We reached Bangalore by 8:45 am, the delay was due to heavy traffic in Andhra Pradesh and then Covid swab test conducted near Hoskote toll. The first left seat was converted to sleeper for the second driver to sleep on this long route. The drivers drove easily above 110 kmph at times. Orange Celeste Volvo left before us for Vizag but halted for some time at Tuni where we passed it. The second driver Muniraju was a true ripper with awesome control. He tried to make up for the lost time by driving at a good pace. Most of the buses were being stopped after Hoskote Toll for Covid Swam collection. So time was wasted there as well. But we got out RT-PCR done for free and got the certificate after 2 days time.
